Job Responsibility /Description:

- Seismic Data Processing: Perform seismic data processing on a variety of project types.
- Alert Management: Ensure alerts are sent within a timely manner 24/7.
- Report Submission: Ensure that daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and bi-yearly reports are submitted on time.
- Administrative Duties: Complete all relevant administrative duties, including accurate and timely time sheets and expense forms.
- Quality Control: Perform quality control on data.
- PRC File Management: Revise/update PRC files as needed.
- Auto Report Pre-sets: Create, maintain, and update auto report pre-sets.
- Bug Reporting: Identify and submit bugs using Bugzilla.
- Process Improvement: Adopt lean management principles to initiate more efficient processes.
- Issue Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot issues regarding processing, reporting, or client complaints.
- Flexible Work Schedule: Work schedule can be Monday-Friday or a 7-day rotation based on company needs.
- Additional Duties: Perform additional duties as needed.
Job Requirement / Minimum Qualification:

- Education: University or College Degree in Geophysics, Geology, Earth Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or relevant experience in the same field.
- Certifications & Licenses: N/A
- Experience: 1-year experience in working with seismic or microseismic data is considered an asset.
- Skills:
- Comfortable performing repetitive analytical tasks.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong software skills, including the ability to efficiently learn new computer software packages.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
- Computer hardware/electrical instrumentation proficiencies are an asset.
- Ability to process vague, abstract verbal and written instructions to create effective plans.
- Ability to problem solve, answer questions, and evaluate results of performance.
- Ability to follow through and complete overlapping projects.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and programs at the same time.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellence in English writing and speaking.
