  • Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
  • Perform manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps,Bugzilla).
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, usability, and performance testing.
  • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
  • Assist in writing and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or other frameworks.
  • Run and analyze results from automated test cases.
  • Document test cases, test results, and issue logs.
  • Ensure compliance with company testing processes and best practices.

Job Requirement / Minimum Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 0-2 years of experience in software quality assurance, including hands-on experience with manual testing.
  • Understands SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Waterfall testing methodologies.
  • Familiar with automation testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright, with scripting knowledge in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Ability to create test plans, test cases, and execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing (nice to have).
  • Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman and basic SQL query knowledge for database validation.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and testing in DevOps environments.
  • Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar, and the ability to write clear defect reports.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork, and the ability to communicate effectively with developers, PMs, and stakeholders.
