  • 1. Assisting in drilling program design (well trajectory, casing, drilling fluids, etc) to ensure alignment with geological and reservoir objectives.
  • 2. Supporting feasibility studies, due diligence, and project evaluations, working closely with geoscientists and subsurface teams to integrate drilling and geoscience perspectives.
  • 3. Analyzing operational and offset well data to identify performance improvements, assess risks, and optimize project economics.
  • 4. Monitoring real-time drilling parameters and correlating with subsurface conditions to support troubleshooting and reduce operational uncertainties.
  • 5. Preparing documentation such as DDR, time/depth curves, geological markers, lessons learned, and post-well reports for both operational and consultancy deliverables.
  • 6. Participating in field visits and audits to observe drilling practices, HSE performance, and equipment condition in line with client and consultancy requirements.
  • 7. Collaborating across disciplines (geoscience, reservoir, drilling, and commercial teams) to deliver integrated consultancy outputs for clients.
  • 8. Exploring digital tools and technologies (AI/ML, advanced analytics) to enhance drilling operations and strengthen consultancy services in subsurface-drilling integration.

Job Requirement / Minimum Qualification:

  • 1. Hold (or be in the final year of) a degree in Petroleum Engineering, Earth Science, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
  • 2. Have a basic understanding of drilling operations, well planning, formation evaluation, and subsurface interpretation.
  • 3. Be comfortable working with both drilling and geoscience data.
  • 4. Possess strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
  • 5. Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams (drilling, geoscience, contractors, service providers).
  • 6. Show eagerness to learn, adapt to new technologies, and contribute to continuous improvement.
